Risk Assessment (CDD)→→→→
Turn a customer file into one rating
Onboarding told you who the customer is. This module decides how closely they get watched.
🎯
What
- Read the customer & jurisdiction & screening result forward from Onboarding.
- Assess product risk, delivery channel, source-of-funds quality and expected activity.
- Score proliferation-financing exposure — a distinct risk this module introduces.
💡
Why
- The rating decides the refresh cycle, the monitoring thresholds, and who has to sign off.
- A risk-based approach means effort proportionate to risk — this is where that becomes a number.
🧭
How
- Eight dimensions, one per screen, each scored 1–5, summed into one LOW / MEDIUM / HIGH rating out of 40.
- Only customer structure is locked from Onboarding; jurisdiction, PEP/sanctions and source of funds are shown with what was declared there but are yours to update; product and channel are your own call — and match your chosen sector.
- Once the eight dimensions are done, you accept or override the system rating yourself — that decision gets its own page, with a documented rationale if you override it.
- You’ll need a customer from the Onboarding module first — this module scores that case, it doesn’t start a new one.

Monitoring🚪
ExitThe rating you reach here doesn’t just sit on this screen — it’s what later modules would monitor against and eventually decide whether to exit.
14 content screens · a simulator that reads your Onboarding case · an 10-question check
No case yet? The simulator will tell you and send you back to Customer Onboarding first — read the content here in the meantime. 80% on the check is the pass mark, and clearing it is what earns this module’s badge alongside the content and the simulator.
